Many Rhawnhurst families have children and send them to Hebrew Day School. The four elementary schools servicing Jewish Philadelphia are Politz Hebrew Academy, Torah Academy, Politz Day School of Cherry Hill and Abrams Academy. The Stern Hebrew High School has moved to Rhawnhurst. This marks the first time students living in the neighborhood are able to walk to a Torah oriented school. On school days, visitors and Rhawnhurst residents are welcome to attend the school's 8:00 am minyan. Also, families in Rhawnhurst have other choices for High School, including Torah Academy High School for girls, the Philadelphia Yeshiva for boys, the Chofetz Chaim High School of Cherry Hill, New Jersey (Mesivta Bais Dovid) for boys, and the Bucks County Yeshiva High School for boys. |
